Traffic: set, number, condition and grade
Search here is precise to the individual item. A set name with a card number, a character with a set abbreviation, a grade with a certificate number, a sealed product with a release year. Almost every query names something exact, which makes the catalog itself the search asset and the structure the thing that exposes it. We build set and release collections, keep card numbers and set codes in titles and page text, and create pages for what people research rather than buy directly: print run explanations, grading scale comparisons, how to separate a reprint from an original. That research layer is where a store can outrank a marketplace, because marketplaces publish listings rather than explanations.
