Conversion optimization measured in revenue per visitor
A store converting at 1.4% does not need a redesign. It needs to know which template, device and traffic source is losing the order, and then to fix that with evidence. We run CRO as a research program, not a button-colour lottery.
What changes
- Conversion rate and AOV lifted on the templates that carry the most revenue
- A backlog of tests ranked by expected revenue impact, not by opinion
- Fewer, better-run experiments with results your finance team will believe
Acts on: Product, Conversion, Cart, Checkout
What is included
The work, item by item
Funnel diagnosis
GA4 funnel exploration by device, template and source; checkout step abandonment; search-to-product and product-to-cart rates. We find where the drop is before we touch a pixel.
Qualitative research
Session recordings, heatmaps, on-site polls and post-purchase surveys, plus a review of support tickets and reviews for the objections your pages fail to answer.
Product page programme
Above-the-fold hierarchy, variant selection, price and promotion clarity, shipping and returns proximity, reviews placement, and add-to-cart behaviour on mobile.
Cart and checkout
Cart drawer versus page, upsell placement, express payment prominence, address autocomplete, error handling and the trust signals that belong beside the pay button.
Experimentation
A/B tests where traffic supports them and sequential or pre-post analysis where it does not, with sample size calculated in advance and a written decision rule.
Hand-off to the platform
Winning variants are built into your theme or headless front end properly, not left running inside a testing tool forever.
Focused work
CRO tasks with their own page
On your platform: BigCommerce CRO agency, Headless commerce CRO agency, Shopify Plus CRO agency, Shopify CRO agency, WooCommerce CRO agency.
Fit
This is the right service if
If none of these sound like your store, the Growth Analysis will point at what does.
- You spend on traffic and your conversion rate has been flat for a year
- Mobile converts at less than half of desktop
- Checkout abandonment is high and nobody can say at which step
- Previous CRO produced test reports but no lasting revenue change
How it runs
From first look to compounding results
Conversion audit
Quantitative and qualitative research compressed into a prioritized list: each opportunity with the template, the evidence and the estimated revenue impact.
Fix the certain things
Some findings do not need a test: broken variant selectors, hidden shipping costs, forms that fail on iOS. Those ship immediately.
Test the uncertain things
Hypotheses with real stakes get experiments, run for a pre-agreed duration with guardrail metrics on AOV and refund rate.
Roll in and repeat
Winners become the new baseline, the backlog is re-ranked with fresh data, and the next cycle begins. Learnings feed back into ads and email as well.

Questions
CRO questions we get asked
How much traffic do we need for A/B testing?
As a rule of thumb, a test needs a few hundred conversions per variant to detect the changes worth chasing. Below that we use pre-post analysis with control periods, or focus on fixes with clear evidence that do not need a test at all.
What conversion rate should an ecommerce store expect?
It depends heavily on category, price point and traffic mix, which is why we benchmark you against your own templates and sources rather than an industry average. Revenue per visitor is the number we optimise.
Do you build the changes or just recommend them?
We build them. Recommendations that wait months for a developer are the most common reason CRO programmes fail.
Which testing tools do you use?
Whatever fits your stack and traffic. On Shopify that is often theme-level experiments or a lightweight tool; on headless builds we use feature flags. We avoid tools that add flicker or slow the page.
