Traffic
Traffic: numbers, year ranges and the words a marque uses
Restoration searches are unusually precise. People search casting numbers, group numbers, factory part numbers and the terminology their marque community uses, which is often different from anything a modern catalog contains. That precision is an opportunity, because the search volume per term is tiny but the competition is close to nothing and the buyer intent is absolute. The traffic lever is a page for every number worth having one, listing what the part is, which years and models it was used on, what it superseded and what replaced it, what reproductions exist and how they differ. Model and year-range hubs sit above them, organised the way the community organises the cars rather than the way a modern fitment database would.
