Traffic
Traffic: compatibility is the query
Smart home searches almost always carry a constraint that is not about the product: smart thermostat without a c wire, matter compatible smart plug, door lock that works with a particular platform, smart switch that does not need a neutral, camera with local storage and no subscription. A catalog with one page per model answers none of them, because the shopper is asking about their house and their ecosystem rather than about a device. The traffic lever is a set of compatibility pages, one for each combination with genuine demand, listing which of your products qualify and what is required to make them work, plus wiring and setup guides for the constraints that stop people ordering. Product pages hold that up by stating protocol, hub requirement, power source, assistant support and app requirements as text rather than as logos inside a banner image.
