Traffic: the discipline first, then the measurement
A rider does not search for horse supplies. They search inside their discipline, using vocabulary that means nothing outside it, and a catalog that sorts by product type puts them in front of items built for a different sport. Dressage, jumping, eventing, western and trail each have their own kit, their own turnout expectations and their own competition rules, and each deserves a hub that holds the whole outfit rather than a filter on a general page. Under the discipline sits the measurement layer, where searches carry a tree width, a gullet size, a blanket length or a denier rating. Those are the queries that convert immediately, because the rider has already worked out what they need.
